Refractory & Insulation:
Each Cremator is manufactured using duel layers of Refractory and Insulation Castable, forming a single monolithic structure of extreme strength and durability, with a service temperature of up to 1,500°C, Cold Crushing Strength of 110Mpa, and expected lifetime of over 15 years. Heat loss is extremely low, with a thermal conductivity of only 0.2 W/mK, ensuring high energy efficiency.
Our PLC’ provide full automation, leaving zero room for operator error. It adds a large HMI screen that displays the status of all components, and creates the ability for remote monitoring and troubleshooting assistance by Macrotec technicians.
Pre-Heated Combustion Air:
The system is designed to recover heat from waste gasses, increasing Fuel Efficiency and ensuring complete combustion due to more stable high temperatures, with decreased fuel usage resulting in a faster ROI.

MacroBurn Cremators utilize a three chamber process, with the coffin being placed in the Primary Chamber where highly combustible components are burnt away. Gasses pass through a Secondary Chamber, with a high degree of turbulence for ideal mixing, completing the burnout and eliminating entrained smoke and other combustible particles. A long residency time of over 2 seconds in the secondary chamber ensures complete combustion. A third chamber is located beneath the primary chamber, where all liquid waste is burned away.
Our Cremators are designed with automatic control of air and combustion rate, which will prevent excessive burning and conversely increase combustion when the burning rate is too low, with temperatures regulated between 850°C and 1,000°C. For maximum automation, our PLC system can be installed that fully automates all functionality, and allows for remote monitoring and alarms of all parameters.
The high temperature and long retention times ensure extremely low emissions.
